Heritage Day: “chop & dop day”

24 September is Heritage Day in South Africa, but Life is Savage prefers National Braai Day because nothing brings people together more than braai right?

Traditionally Heritage Day is when  “South Africans across the spectrum are encouraged to celebrate their cultural heritage and the diversity of their beliefs and traditions, in the wider context of a nation that belongs to all its people” [WIKI]

Translation : ” chop & dop day”

Thats exactly what the folks at this little store were going for. Behold…. stunning localized marketing genius. Brings a tear to my eye this. And the award goes to :

Stand up and give a round of applause please. Proudly South African just does not get any better than this. Good times.

[Thanks Unathi]
