South African ad agency wins Grand Prix at Cannes Lions 2009..

TBWA\HUNT\LASCARIS  Johannesburg,South Africa has won a Grand Prix Award at the 56th annual Cannes Lion Advertising Awards.They won the top award for outdoor advertising for the campaign featuring billboards made from real Zimbabwean currency.Inflation in Zimbabwe is the highest on the planet and  banknotes(they have a Trillion Dollar note) are practically worthless.The ad agency used the banknotes as a background on which they printed the following thought provoking statements.Well played chaps..nice to see that we can get the world to take notice of the crap happening in Zimbabwe.
