15 weeks..peanut butter, jam and huge melons!
Wow..time is going bye so quickly..Dad recieved an email the other day from somebody who already has a son and it seems like it was just the other day that Thomas was born…he’s huge now!His mom has kindly offered advice and im sure ill be quoting her in future..
So 15 weeks( fingerprints already formed ..how crazy is that!) down the line and the mom is making some serious gains in the weight and girth department (and also the jubblies…huge i tell you..fun-bags as Baz would say:).She almost cried the other day when it became apparent that her favourite jeans wont close anymore
maybe she should lay off the peanut butter and jam sandwiches at 2 am!! Conventional wisdom has made ” eating-for-two” a common excuse but according to experts pregnant moms should NOT double what they eat but merely add a couple hundred calories!Dad complains that he is gaining weight too since mom keeps making him eat when she does..not cool.Emotions have stabilized somewhat but an argument did ensue about what to say when somebody robs your house..dad said “burgled” and mom was adamant its “burglarise”.She blatantly laughed at him like Cruella de Ville. She is also very insistent that his name not be Tyler or Tyson. So it looks like they gonna settle on Dylan.Mom has been wondering whether they should start talking to the tummy? Supposedly the baby cant hear yet but can feel vibrations.Mom says dad must start saying things but dad says he feels silly talking and is definately not humming!..he says he’s gonna wait and say something when the baby can hear properly..being a male, he typically has already chosen what little Dylan should hear first..and “who’s your daddy”! is in the lead at the moment.
